I own my own domain already and would like to use your Dynamic DNS - what do I need to do?

Follow the steps to have ChangeIP.com provide your DNS:

1 - You need to change the 'Name Server' addresses that are listed for your domain name. You typically go to the website where you bought your domain name, ie: BulkRegister, Network Solutions, Register.com, etc and change them there. Here is a link to our demo center that will walk you through most of the different methods out there: Demo Center

2 - You have to specify at least 2 different 'Name Servers' for your domain - you can use ns1.changeip.com @ 63.210.174.80 and ns2.changeip.com @ 68.15.19.50. (The IP addresses are usually ignored by the registry since the name servers are registered with the root servers already.)

3 - Wait anywhere from 10-20 minutes to 12-48 hours for the registry to replicate your new 'Name Server' selections. (Note: You can continue the next steps immediately) Anyone that has cached the previous name server values will get the new set within 24-48 hours, and anyone that has not cached your name servers will get the new values within a few minutes.

4 - Next add your domain name to your account. This can be done on the 'Account Overview' screen.

5 - It's up and running!

6 - Customize your domain records to point them wherever.
