DNS Hosting Types on ChangeIP.com
There are 3 types of DNS Hosting with ChangeIP:
Free DNS HostingThere are 3 types of DNS Hosting with ChangeIP:
- Free DNS Hosting allows our users a free domain (as a subdomain of one of our 160+ available domains) to use.
- Free DNS Hosting is a required service to add a free domain to your DNS Manager and allow that domain to resolve.
- Free DNS Hosting must be used in combination with our Free Dynamic DNS (this is added automatically when you add a free domain) to automatically update your Dynamic IP.
Paid DNS Hosting
- Paid DNS Hosting allows DNS resolution of a domain that you have registered outside of ChangeIP.com
- Paid DNS Hosting is a required service to add your own domain to DNS Manager and allow that domain to resolve.
- In order to use Paid DNS Hosting, your Name Servers must be set to:
- ns1.changeip.com
- ns2.changeip.com
- Paid DNS Hosting must be used in combination with Premium DDNS to automatically update your Dynamic IP
Domain Registration Name Hosting
- Domain Registration Name Hosting is the same as our Paid DNS Hosting except it is offered at no additional cost when you have your domain registered at ChangeIP.com
